Two of most popular events are our "Ladies Night Out in the Greenhouse". Be sure to mark your calendars. Friday October 24th (from 6-8pm) is our first one. This is a fundraiser for the Smillow Cancer Center, in memory of my mom, and so many of us who have battled Breast Cancer. We ask for a donation of at least $10 at the door - more is always appreciated). We'll have door prizes, raffles, and sales in addition to a greenhouse full of fun vendors. It's a great way to kick off your Holiday shopping.
Our second "Ladies Night Out" will be held on Wednesday December 17th from 6-8pm. This is a fundraiser for "Care & Share", which is our local food bank serving East Lyme & Salem. WE ask for a minimum donation of $10 AND a non perishable (NOT expired) food item. I know that protein is something that they are always looking for, so maybe grab a 1/2 dozen cans of tuna to bring along. We'll have different vendors for this event, along with door prizes, raffles, and special sales. Plan on enjoying yourself, with some of your besties, and help our neighbors who are in need this winter.
Monday, October 13th, join us in the greenhouse for some good, old fashioned fun. The Kids have the day off, and it may or may not be a pleasant day outside. But it's always warm in the greenhouse. Come in and purchase the pumpkins of your choice. Bring them into the greenhouse, where we will have tables set up for the KIDS to decorate a pumpkin. Glue, glitter, paint, sequins, glitter, pompoms, yarn, glitter - all the things that kids want to get creative with, and you DO NOT want in your dining room. We supply all the messy stuff & clean up afterwards. What a great fun activity for the kids. Please join us.
